Pride is a preeeeetty huge deal to our campaign. Never one to be on the wrong side of history, John was the first elected official in western PA to officiate a same-sex wedding. But we know there's so much more we have to do in the fight for equality, Faith.
Expanding rights and freedoms for LGBTQIA+ Americans is essential, and John has pledged to fight to codify these rights in the form of the Equality Act.
If you're with us, will you add your name to our petition in support of the Equality Act today?
Right now, in 2023, there are concerted efforts on the far right to attack corporations, government officials, and everyday folks who are celebrating Pride.
It's also still perfectly legal in many instances to discriminate against the LGBTQIA+ community in PA and around the country.
The fight isn't over, and we must *never* stop pushing for equal protection under the law for every American. Thanks to this movement, John is in the Senate to fight boldly, relentlessly, and proudly for LGBTQIA+ rights and freedoms.
