Bad actors are exploiting campaign finance loopholes to scam well meaning donors.
When you make a donation to our campaign, we know you're entrusting us to spend that money wisely.
Unfortunately, there are PACs out there scamming Republicans and Democrats alike—these scam PACs aren't spending the money they raise reaching out to voters or advocating for an issue. They're simply lining their own pockets.
Katie has introduced bipartisan legislation to allow the FEC to go after these con artists who are exploiting loopholes in our campaign finance system.
As a consumer protection attorney, Katie will always stand up to fraudsters, and she knows how important it is to have laws that protect people from scams and hold dishonest scammers accountable. What some of these PACs have been doing is especially egregious—going after seniors and veterans in particular who just want to make a difference, all to make a quick profit.
