Do you hear that, Faith?

It's the sound of billionaire CEOs falling over themselves as they race to kiss up to Donald Trump.

Just in the past week, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta would no longer fact-check content on its platforms — a win for leaders who prefer to share "alternate facts."

We found out that Apple CEO Tim Cook will donate $1 million to Trump's inauguration committee — joining a pile of gifts that already includes $1 million donations from Meta and Amazon.

And Jeff Bezos' Washington Post refused to publish a political cartoon that showed this whole phenomenon in action: Bezos and other Big Tech leaders bending the knee to Trump. (Also, remember how he blocked the Post from endorsing Kamala Harris last fall?)

Clearly, these billionaire CEOs are trying to curry favor with Donald Trump — so they can make our government work great for their giant corporations and their giant pocketbooks.

Look: Donald Trump made big promises on the campaign trail about fighting for working people, like making groceries less expensive. It's important to note that once he got elected he then started saying it will actually be "hard" to bring down grocery prices.

Now, we're seeing a government of the billionaires, by the billionaires, and for the billionaires.

He's nominated billionaires to lead the Departments of the Treasury, Commerce, Education, and the Interior. And the Small Business Administration. And NASA. Not to mention the unofficial co-president, Elon Musk, and the billionaire co-head of his Department of Government Efficiency.

And Republicans in Congress are advancing an agenda to hand even more tax breaks to — you guessed it — billionaires and their billionaire corporations.

They want to make it possible for Bezos to once again (and again, and again) pay a lower tax rate than a public school teacher.

And their tax plan would give Apple an extra $2.7 billion in handouts. (Really puts Tim Cook's $1 million personal donation into perspective.)

Instead of passing those giveaways and sweetheart deals, how about we invest in working families? How about we fund universal child care, paid leave, and early education? How about we put our government on the side of working people?

I'm in those fights all the way. In the U.S. Senate, I'll keep laying out plans for the changes that families need, I'll keep standing up to Republican attempts to reward the rich, and I'll keep being grateful to have your support — you make this work possible.
