Faith, it's pretty obvious at this point that most liberals have departed Twitter.
I don't blame the people who deactivated their accounts. There has been an undeniable decline on the platform ever since Elon Musk took control in 2022.
Now, whether you follow him or not, you see something from Elon every few tweets, alongside a major increase in right-wing and conspiracy-related content.
All that said, I'm not quitting Twitter. I actually like being surrounded by people who disagree with me. I'm not afraid to debate issues. It's when I learn the most.

Just because I'm not leaving Twitter doesn't mean I'm not excited about the future of social media. I think it's awesome that progressives are staking a claim in a new platform called Bluesky – and have so far successfully cultivated a community free from obnoxious right-wing troll accounts and literal Nazis that are plaguing Twitter.
I'm still getting started on Bluesky. If you're already there, follow me and join the conversation. I would love to see our community on Bluesky keep growing larger!
