That's what my parents taught me growing up, and I've carried that lesson every step of my life — from my time as a voting rights lawyer, to leading Wayne State Law School, to serving as Secretary of State.
I'm running for Governor of Michigan to continue that work and make sure that every Michigan family has that fair shot.

I'm running for Governor to truly make government work for everyone. We need transparent leadership, safe schools and neighborhoods, and good education and childcare. Every Michigander should be able to pay their bills, put food on the table, and take care of their families.
