Faith, President Trump just took office this week and – as expected – he's already taking a number of dangerous actions with his new lease on power.
We're doing everything we can to hold Trump accountable, halt the worst of his agenda, and elect the young leaders who will fight for our progressive future.

Here's a look at some of Trump's new orders and actions on day one in office:
- Blanket pardons for 1,500 of the January 6 traitors and insurrectionists.
- The reversal of 78 Biden-era orders, undoing progress on racial equality, LGBTQ+ rights, climate policy, and lower prescription drug costs.
- Removing the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord… again.
- Restoring the use of the death penalty at the federal level.
- Ending birthright citizenship (a direct violation of the Constitution).
- Eliminating federal diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.
- Making it federal policy to acknowledge only two genders (male/female).
Faith, we know we have a lot of fights ahead of us over the next four years. It might seem overwhelming thinking about the path ahead of us. But we cannot lose hope or lose sight of the progressive future we are all building together.
We must stay in the fight.
And that means continuing to do everything we can to build progressive power in our state legislatures, take back the majorities in Congress, and ensure Trump is replaced by a progressive Democrat in the White House four years from now.
Let me be clear: This fight is about so much more than stopping Donald Trump.
Defeating the MAGA agenda is not enough. We have to offer real, meaningful solutions to people's problems and give the voters a reason to trust Democrats.
We have to rebuild our party – and that includes supporting young people who are stepping up and running for their state legislatures and seats in Congress.
I believe in us, Faith. I've seen the things we can accomplish when we band together to make a difference. We can do this. But we can't give the GOP an inch. We need supporters like you to stay with us in the fight. It's the only way we'll win.
