Not just an abstract fundraising tactic

Faith,

I'm going to make this very brief.

Tonight we've got our last FEC fundraising deadline of the year. Before I ask you to pitch in to support our campaign, I want to explain exactly why this deadline is so important, and not just an abstract fundraising tactic.

After tonight, our campaign's fundraising numbers will be public. This will be one of the first assessments of our movement's strength as we kick off the critical midterm election year.

We're going to be up against powerful special interests who are hoping to cling onto their power — and we've got big plans to ensure Democrats not only take back the House and Senate, but that we use our majorities to make aggressive, transformational changes in our country that benefit working people — even if billionaires and corporations disagree.

The people who have the most to lose if we succeed — the far-right extremists who are destroying our democracy, the corporate executives siphoning resources from our government to enrich themselves, the billionaires who just can't stand paying a little more in taxes, and the naysayers who believe that small, incremental changes are enough to meet this moment — they would love nothing more than to see our movement lose its steam.

After our fundraising report is published, we have a chance to show Trump, the GOP, and their billionaire enablers that you and thousands of others across the country are still in this fight — and that we are going to defeat them in 2026.

The amount of grassroots contributions we raise before tonight's midnight deadline will send a powerful message about how much support we really have — and provide strong resources we need to power our fight in 2026. If, and only if, you're able, will you please pitch in $28 or anything you can before midnight tonight?
