Tonight we're coming up on our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we still have a ways to go before we reach our goal. So before we hit midnight I wanted to reach out and explain why this work is so important.
With Trump on the ballot again and Republicans cracking down on fundamental rights all over the country, it's no exaggeration to say that there's a lot at stake for the future of our democracy this November.
But whether Trump wins or loses, we need leaders in office who aren't afraid to confront the rising tide of fascism in the Republican Party.

Our strategy is to elect young leaders in key swing districts where our investments will pay off both in the short term and the long term — by turning out young voters this election and building a bench of future Democratic Party leaders.
And here's the good news: we've already scored some big wins by electing Nadarius Clark to the Virginia House of Delegates and Molly Cook to the Texas Senate!
But our biggest test yet is coming this November, and we need your help to replicate that success for the 13 candidates we've endorsed all over the country.

Also our fundraising has been down because gmail changed their rules around spam with little notice so we have been landing in spam boxes more. That's a problem for us because most of our funding comes from small dollar donors. (We're working on fixing it but in the meantime there are two ways you can help with that. 1. Just open our emails even if you don't donate. It helps tell gmail we are not spam. 2. If you want to make sure we get the support we need you can consider donating monthly (this helps a massive amount because small dollar fundraising has many booms and busts).
