This might get a little long, but I hope you read it

There's so much going on with Leaders We Deserve lately that it's even hard for me to keep track of.

Hey Faith,

There's so much going on with Leaders We Deserve lately that it's even hard for me to keep track of. So I figured I'd take a couple minutes to update you all on what we've been up to lately — because we've definitely been busy.

This email might get a little long, so if you just want to pitch in to help us make up the gap from missing our mid-month goal and elect more young leaders this November, you can do that here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/lwed-em-20240416-1

I know we've been talking about it forever, but we finally just endorsed our first slate of 6 candidates for the 2024 cycle: Sarah McBride, Christine Cockley, Bryce Berry, Ashwin Ramaswami, Anna Thomas, and Anja Wookey-Huffman.

But we're not stopping there. There are a ton of up-and-coming young leaders who we're going to elect this year, and we'll be releasing our next round of endorsements very soon — stay tuned for that!

Once we've endorsed a candidate, we're going all in to help get them elected. We help with everything from candidate training to messaging to organizing and GOTV, and in many state legislative races, our work makes a huge difference.

We've also been working on hiring our own staff to help execute on our plans, and we just got a new office, too. It'll give us all a place to work and meet with folks in DC, which will be super important as the election gets closer.

Faith, I wasn't lying when I said we've been up to a lot. But the truth is none of this would be possible without your grassroots support. Leaders We Deserve doesn't take corporate donations. We rely on you to support our mission.

So if you can, will you pitch in $3 or any amount that works for you to help us fill in the gaps of our April mid-month goal? Here's a secure link you can use: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/lwed-em-20240416-1

With Election Day getting closer and our work ramping up, your support is critical. And I can't thank you enough for pitching in.

Thanks, Faith. More updates soon.

David Hogg
