The PACT Act is a risk

Republicans in Congress just proposed that we throw the guarantees we made to Veterans in the garbage.

They wrap themselves in the flag. They wear their America First shirts. They're patriots, the pro-Veteran party. Don't you forget it.

And now, Republicans in the House just put up a plan to undermine health care for the men and women that served our country — slashing funding in the PACT Act's Toxic Exposure Fund by $14.7 billion.

We fought for YEARS to get coverage for Veterans suffering after exposure to toxic burn pits, and last year we got those benefits signed into law.

Republicans in Congress just proposed that we throw the guarantees we made to those Veterans in the garbage.

It's like Jon Stewart said: "They don't support the troops, they just support the war machine."

We need every person reading this email to tell the GOP that we will not let them break the promises we made to our Vets.
