I just have to ask

It's a question I get all the time, Faith.

"Jon, you send me these emails all the time. Why do I need to donate?"

Well today, there are two really good reasons for that.

1. We're REALLY cranking right now. VoteVets is running ads across the country, pushing members of Congress, and mobilizing Veterans — all to stop damaging cuts to Veterans benefits. It looks like we've got a deal that avoids default and protects funding for Veterans, but it ain't over yet. We have to keep pushing until we know it's done.


2. We're right up on our end-of-month deadline, and we haven't done any fundraising since Friday. VoteVets doesn't do anything political over Memorial Day — that's a solemn day — but it puts us in a tough position ahead of that deadline. Especially now, when we're so busy.

So please, with less than 48 hours until our deadline at midnight May 31st, I have to ask:
