Celebrating the PACT Act

500,000 have submitted claims since August

VoteVets

Among a ton of depressing headlines lately, here is some welcome news, Faith.

For years, countless Veterans suffered after exposure to toxic burn pits during their time in uniform. That's changing now.

Since August of 2022, more than 500,000 Veterans have submitted PACT Act related claims to the VA, and 3 million more have had toxic exposure screenings.

Veterans getting the care they need should not have taken this long. But today, that's something to be encouraged by.

And now that we're here, we've got to protect this coverage. The same Republicans who were on the fence about caring for our Veterans are ready to tank the economy and default on our national debt if they don't get to cut the VA.

If that makes you mad, good. We want to hear from you.

If you or someone you love — a family member, a friend, a neighbor — were exposed to toxic burn pits in the Military, add your name here and tell your story.

TELL YOUR STORY

We're collecting these stories because this matters. Your voice matters, and we want to make sure it gets heard.

Up in DC, it's easy for self-interested politicians to forget that their decisions have a real impact. We aren't going to let that happen.

Hope to hear from you,

The team at VoteVets
