What is happening in Mississippi ⁉️

Mississippi's Republican Governor, Tate Reeves, is one of the least popular elected officials in America.

Faith -

Mississippi's Republican Governor, Tate Reeves, is one of the least popular elected officials in America.

And it's no wonder why.

He focuses his time and energy on things like this:

Tweet from MS Gov. Tate Reeves: 'I'll be signing a major series of pro-mom and pro-life bills today. Huge wins for Mississippi! Join us live on Facebook at 11:00am.'

While his state experiences outcomes like this:

Tweet from Gavin Newsom: 'Mississippi: - highest fetal mortality rate - highest infant mortality rate - highest pre-term birth rate - Among worst for maternal mortality - Black women 3X more likely to die from childbirth. Which part of this is

And this:

Tweet from Democratic Governors: 'This is Gov. Tate Reeves' legacy. By refusing to expand Medicaid, he's risking the closure of dozens of Mississippi hospitals, posing a direct threat to the health and well-being of working people across the state.'

And he is "pro-life?" Give me a break.

He's up for re-election this November, and Democrats — against all odds — have a chance to win this race.

That's why Tate Reeves is trying to make it harder for Democrats to vote.

Tweet from Democracy Docket: 'NEW: Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves signed into law a bill that will make it easier to remove voters from the rolls and authorizes the secretary of state to conduct post-election audits in every county.'

So I am asking you for your help. I am asking for all of us to rally around and wrap our arms around Mississippi Democrats to help them elect a Governor that will put the people of the state ahead of the culture wars.

Elections are not as expensive in Mississippi as they are in California, so any amount will go a long way. What do you say?

Can you contribute $3, or any amount you can afford today, directly to the Mississippi State Democratic Party? It all adds up when we're all chipping-in, and that is how we can win this race and replace a far-right Republican Governor.

πŸ‘‹πŸ» Hi. Please don't click away just yet. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

If everyone reading this donated just $20 to the Mississippi Democratic Party, they would have the resources they need to win this election and help a lot of people in their state. It'd also send a HUGE message that Democrats can beat these far-right authoritarians any and everywhere.

If that sounds worth it and important to you, please donate to the Mississippi State Democratic Party today. Thank you.
