All across the country, families are hurting and rights are being rolled back by far-right Republican leaders who fan the flames of the culture wars to distract from the fact that on health, wealth and economic outcomes, they are failing.
That's why I started the Campaign for Democracy: because Democrats need to fight everywhere. We simply cannot give up on those Americans.
Look at what some of these red state so-called "leaders" are focused on:
Tennessee
Arkansas
South Carolina
Alabama
Nebraska
Florida
Across the country, extremist Republicans are systematically attacking the very foundations of our free society.
They've silenced speech, fired teachers, kidnapped migrants, subjugated women and attacked the Special Olympics.
They've made it harder to vote and easier to buy assault weapons.
They've sold fear and panic when it comes to crime, but calm and indifference when the threat is greenhouse gasses destroying our planet.
It's time for Democrats to go on offense. Everywhere. Because the real Republican agenda is deeply unpopular. Everywhere.
