John has always said that Social Security + Medicare ensure that seniors can retire with dignity, and they are lifelines for PA seniors.
But the GOP has plans to destroy these critical programs. They might balk when called out on them, but leader after leader in the Republican party has floated the idea of cutting, restricting, or ENDING both programs.
Just days ago, Mike Pence said Republicans "have got to put" Social Security and Medicare "on the table in the long term" to be cut. 🤬
John will always fight to protect Social Security + Medicare from GOP attacks. 💯
But the GOP is using the debt ceiling as a hostage situation to try to cut essential government programs. If they had their way, almost ANYTHING could be on the chopping block.
We have to stand up + say enough is enough.
Will you add your name to call on Congress to leave Social Security + Medicare alone?
