This might not be popular, but it's true: Banning trans Americans from serving in the military is bullsh*t. | | This isn't about being "woke." It's about being decent. It's about respecting every person who courageously steps up to serve our country – *including* folks in the LGBTQ+ community. | | I'm unapologetically pro-military. I'm also unapologetically pro-LGBTQ+. Those two things are NOT in conflict: Our military is stronger when it honors the dignity of all its members. | | But Trump doesn't get that. His ban on trans military service is hateful, dangerous to our national security, and flat-out wrong.
