Believe it or not, Faith, running for office isn't the only way to make a positive difference in your community. 🤯 Every day, there are people working at charities and nonprofits that do really amazing work across PA + the whole country.
So since today is Giving Tuesday, I wanted to shout out two organizations close to my heart: Harmony Dog Rescue and Grow Pittsburgh. You can click here to pitch in and support the work they're doing across Western PA now.
Harmony Dog Rescue 🐕 helps make sure dogs aren't left in dangerous situations or surrendered to shelters. They provide boarding and veterinary treatment for dogs whose owners are dealing with homelessness or other emergencies.
Grow Pittsburgh 🪴 is equally awesome. They build school and community gardens across the Pittsburgh region and teach people how to grow their own food. What's not to love about that?
But neither of those organizations can do the work they're doing without grassroots support. As nonprofits, they rely on our donations to fund their efforts.
