Let me tell you why you should care...
Faith, Kamala Harris went on Call Her Daddy – a podcast series hosted by Alex Cooper. Let me tell you why you should care...
The topline? Kamala Harris is reaching out to young people in this country with her arms wide open.
Call Her Daddy is the second-most popular podcast in the world with over 5 million downloads each week. The "Daddy Gang" – a term to describe the Call Her Daddy audience – is made up of mostly women between the ages of 18 and 24.
Kamala Harris went on to speak about women's rights and her thoughts on the largest issues facing women in the upcoming election. It's an understatement to say that abortion rights and accessible reproductive care are huge issues on the minds of folks heading into Election Day.
Call Her Daddy is not a political show – the audience is made up of a wide cross section of women with various political views, and many of them are not engaged at all with politics or maybe feeling a little frustrated with politics now.
By appearing on Alex Cooper's podcast, Kamala is talking to an audience that may not have been listening before – but will be affected adversely by another Trump presidency – about Democrats' pro-choice, pro-freedom agenda.
Leaders We Deserve applauds Kamala Harris for reaching out to young people. We believe that the future of our country rests in the hands of young people – some of whom will be casting ballots for the first time ever in this historic election.
And these young voters deserve candidates like Kamala Harris – and the 13 young progressives we've endorsed in critical races across the country – who will meet them where they are and take real action on the issues that impact them most.
Will you pitch in $5 to support the Harris-Walz campaign and our 13 young candidates running to change the face of our state legislatures and Congress?
