Hey Faith, quick question:
Are we the only campaign you get emails from? We're betting the answer to that is a resounding "nope."
In fact, you probably get a lot of emails from a lot of different campaigns and organizations. And if we're still betting, a lot of those emails from other folks probably don't treat you with the respect you deserve.
They may even treat you more like a piggy bank than a valued supporter. 🙄
Look, every campaign, including this one, has to raise money (so please, pitch in to support ours if you can). But here are just a few examples of the kind of scammy, dishonest tactics you'll never see from John:
"URGENT: FINAL NOTICE ENCLOSED"
"4X MATCH ACTIVE!"
"DONATE NOW OR WE WILL LOSE!"
We don't engage in that kind of BS because we know you're not a piggy bank. You're a real person, with a real job, a real life, and real concerns. And you deserve to be treated like one too.
So while we do count on grassroots donations to keep this campaign running, we'll always be up front and honest about what we're asking for and why.
Here's why we're asking today: Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is at midnight tonight, and we still need a little help to reach our goal. Reaching these goals is REALLY important if we want to keep this seat 🔵.
