The future of our democracy and all of our rights depends on defeating them.
The Texas GOP isn't even trying to hide how extreme they are, Faith.
They're now proposing the death penalty for abortion patients and the doctors who perform them. Doesn't sound very "pro-life" to me!

There's no way around it: these people are straight up fascists, and the future of our democracy and all of our rights depends on defeating them.
Will you rush an urgent donation of $5 or more to help us elect young progressives who will fight to stop extremism and defend reproductive rights?
It's almost unreal. To think that a political party which holds all the levers of power in the second most populous state in the country could murder people for seeking abortions is terrifying.
But they actually proposed it as a plank to their party platform at the end of May.
This just makes it all the more clear how urgent it is that we help our Leaders We Deserve endorsed candidates in Texas win this year. And I'm committed to doing everything I can to make certain that happens.
Molly Cook in Houston has already won a special election to fill the remainder of the current term in the Texas Senate, but she'll need to win again this November to serve a full term. She's currently the most progressive member of the Senate, and it's crucial that she remain there to keep fighting for abortion rights.
In the Dallas area, Averie Bishop has made abortion rights a central part of her campaign for the State House. She has an opportunity to flip a red district blue and make real progress toward actually flipping the legislature — but she needs our help to do it.
This fight won't be easy, but with Republicans literally proposing the state-sanctioned murder of doctors and abortion patients, losing isn't an option.
Please Faith, pitch in $5 or more right now to help us give Averie, Molly, and all of our Leaders We Deserve endorsed candidates the resources they need to win this November.
