Deeply grateful

I'm deeply grateful for every grassroots donor who chips in to help power our movement — because funding our campaign from the grassroots level makes a powerfully important difference.

Over time, a democracy with political campaigns funded by a small number of people who can contribute a lot of money looks very different from a democracy with campaigns funded by a large number of people who chip in a little at a time.

It's the difference between a government that works great for those at the top and a government that can work for everyone.

With a grassroots-funded movement, we can fight back against powerful interests like the gun lobby, Big Pharma, Big Tech, and fossil fuel giants who've used their deep pockets to block the policies we're fighting to pass. We can compete against the funding of the Super PAC that was launched to target me, boost my Republican opponent, and do the bidding of their corporate donors. We can win and make big, structural change.

And every three months, when we publish our fundraising numbers after the quarterly FEC deadline, we get a chance to show that grassroots donors like you are in this fight.
