Faith, America just passed a major milestone:
The Senate just confirmed President Biden's 200th federal judge! 🎉
Now, I get it — to a lot of folks, this might sound like some DC inside-baseball wonk bullshit. But I can tell you that who fills those judicial vacancies really matters.
Federal judges have the power to uphold (or strike down) every single law that Congress passes. Unhinged right-wing extreme judges strike down laws that protect our rights, our families, and our workers; fair-minded mainstream judges uphold those laws.
So yeah, this is a big deal. I ran for Senate to be the 51st Democrat — the 51st vote to confirm President Biden's judges. If you want to make sure that I can keep confirming Democratic judges for years to come, please chip in $50 here!
