| Listen, folks: This campaign isn't about me. And it never will be. This campaign is about all of us. It's about OUR future together. That's why I feel so fortunate to be out on the campaign trail meeting supporters like you all across the country. I've met some really incredible people over the past year, and I wanted to share those experiences with you. In North Carolina, I sat down with Eric and his sons, Christian and Carter. Over burgers and fries, I got to hear all about Eric's path to becoming a teacher and Carter and Christian's basketball teams and extracurriculars. Eric shared with me how student loan relief has changed all of their lives for the better. It meant so much to me to hear that. 
I met Harry and his mom at one of my campaign rallies in Milwaukee. I've struggled with a stutter all my life. Harry told me he experiences the same thing. I told him he can't let it get in the way of achieving his dreams. And I know he won't. I'm so proud of him. 
Jill and I got to sit down with the Cunicelli family in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Over pizza made by their family's small business, we talked about the importance of family and gratitude. They were so generous, giving us a tour of their home and garden and a card their daughter, Stella, made with her classmates. I was honored to share a meal with them. 
And I met Hurley and one of his sons HJ on a rainy day at a putting green in Michigan. We got to putt a little inside, heard about HJ's golfing, and talked to his dad about our shared optimism for our country and the enormous opportunity we have to create a future for kids like HJ. 
While I am traveling across the nation, I need you to know I carry these stories with me. Every day, I wake up and I fight for families like Eric's, for kids like Harry, for small businesses like the Cunicellis', and for a brighter future filled with possibilities for kids like HJ. Since Day One, Kamala's and my goal has been to give folks a little more breathing room. To make everyone's lives a little freer.
