How a candidate funds their campaign does more than just influence how they pay for staff, ads, and organizing. It has a direct impact on both our message and who we actually serve in office. Any politician or pundit who tells you otherwise is lying — and I have the receipts.
Despite virtually every member of Congress having campaigned on making life-saving drugs more accessible, politicians who take millions of dollars from Big Pharma are still telling us we have to accept a world where people die because they have to ration their medicine.
Then we have out-of-touch elites like Josh Hawley, who have spent decades wasting our money on tax breaks and subsidies for Wall Street, Big Pharma, Big Tech, and just about everything else that's gutting our country.
They're willing to lie, cheat, and steal from the American people to protect the corporate PACs and mega-donors who own them — and they'll even raise their fist to look strong before they start running from threats to our democracy.
We don't need any more liars or frauds like Josh Hawley in Congress. That's why I'm running for U.S. Senate. It's why I'm not taking a single cent from corporate PACs. And it's why I'm asking you to add a donation of whatever you can toward our people-powered campaign before our first major FEC fundraising deadline of 2024 on Sunday.
