I'm sorry to email you so early, but I wanted to give you a quick update before I head out the door.
We're approaching our first end-of-quarter deadline of 2024, and we need to reach our goal if we're going to have any hope of protecting this seat in November.
Here's why:
- I'm up against a self-funding mega-millionaire who outraised us last quarter and donated $1 million of his own money to his campaign, putting him at an advantage.
- Right-wing super PACs are already dumping millions of dollars into this race to flip PA red, and my opponent just launched a seven-figure ad buy of his own. We can't let these ads go unanswered.
- Pennsylvania is a key battleground in 2024, and it's critical to holding both the White House and the Senate. We can't afford to come up short.
To fight back, we launched our first TV ads of the cycle — but here's the thing, team, ads are expensive, and we don't have unlimited resources like my mega-millionaire opponent.
I know giving $5 is probably not how you thought you'd start your day, but I hope I can count on you, team.
