Good morning, Faith.
Tommy Tuberville continues to hold up hundreds of promotions for senior Military officers. And as of this Monday, the United States Marine Corps has no confirmed Commandant for the first time since 1859.
VoteVets decided to do something about that.
We just rolled out our newest ad, Situation. You can watch it here:
And I have a critical request: Can you chip in $10 or more to help us get it on the air in Alabama? It costs about $160 to run this 60 second ad one time, and we need $40,000 to run the full campaign.
VoteVets is one of the only organizations that can push this issue forward. We've been working hard on it for months now, with a lot of support from you.
And the truth is, we can only get this ad on the air — broadcasting to the people that Tuberville represents down in Alabama — if you make a donation right now.
The more we raise, the longer we can run the ad, the more people who can see it, and the more likely we are to get these promotions moving.
So, how about it, Faith:
A donation of $10, or anything you can afford, could make all the difference.
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:
This is one of the rare occasions where your donation can have a real, lasting impact on our fighting forces, and the National Security of millions of Americans.
Please, I hope you'll consider it.
Thank you,
Major General Paul Eaton, US Army, Retired
