Thank You — Here’s What We Learned from Our Donor Survey

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our recent donor survey. We received more than 103 responses, and we are incredibly grateful not only for your support of the Western Flyer Foundation, but also for your thoughtful feedback about how we communicate and stay connected with you.

Your responses were very helpful, and we wanted to share a few highlights of what we learned.

Survey Highlights
• Most of you prefer receiving updates by email
• Quarterly updates appear to be the preferred frequency for most respondents
• Many of you are most interested in student program impact, student stories, upcoming expeditions and events, and behind-the-scenes vessel updates
• Financial sustainability and future plans are also topics you would like to hear more about
• Surveys and email were the most preferred ways to share feedback and ideas
• Many of you expressed interest in occasional gatherings, tours, or opportunities to connect more personally with the Western Flyer

Because our survey was conducted anonymously to protect your privacy, we received several wonderful suggestions and offers to help without the ability to see who sent them.

If you were one of the individuals who shared a specific idea, offered to volunteer, or suggested a future event, I would love to hear from you directly. Please feel free to reply to this email so we can follow up on your ideas and continue the conversation.
