I don't care what the odds are. I've had them stacked against me my whole life. As long as I have this team behind me, we can win in Iowa and we can flip control of the whole Senate.

Sitting in my wheelchair, at 9 years old, watching the Olympics, I dreamed of winning gold for my country. In 2016, I did just that—and then I did it again.
My name is Josh Turek. I'm a two-time Paralympic gold medalist for Team USA, and now I'm running for Iowa's open seat in the U.S. Senate.
Before I share more about my background and why I'm running, State Democrats Committee said I could reach out and ask for your urgent support. Polls show I can flip this seat and I'm coming up on a big fundraising deadline. Ball's in your court: Will you split a donation today to help send me to the Senate?
DONATE
Believe me, I was born an underdog.
By the age of 12, I had 21 surgeries for spina bifida. I was the kid wearing Goodwill hand-me-downs with the wrong color lunch ticket.
That didn't stop me from representing the U.S. on the world stage. And it won't stop me in this election either—from pushing the hills, crawling up stairs to speak with Iowans and earn their vote. Giving up is not in my vocabulary.
If you turn on the news and you're angry by what's happening in Washington, by the billionaires and party elites rigging the game for the rest of us, I hope you'll split a donation to my campaign today.
If you have stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation to Josh Turek and State Democrats Committee will process instantly:

Thanks for hearing me out. I really hope to earn your support.
