Something incredible happened on Friday. After weeks of ignoring requests for real televised debates with me, Josh Hawley gave in to the pressure to show up at a (non-fully televised) debate with the Missouri Press Association in Springfield — after two new polls showed we cut his double-digit lead in half. Hawley stood on that debate stage and spread the same desperate lies about me that he’s already spent millions of dollars to air on TV. He’s terrified because he knows that we’re in striking distance of taking back this Senate seat… and that there’s nothing he can do or say to stop our momentum. And that’s not where the day ended. Just hours after the debate, we had one of our biggest campaign rallies yet — with hundreds of Missourians in Springfield who are fired up to replace Josh Hawley on November 5th. The energy was absolutely electric: Two things are clear after what happened on Friday:
I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished together. And now, with just 42 days until Election Day, I’m ready to keep working and fighting to take back Missouri’s Senate seat for real, everyday people. Now let’s get moving.
