We are proud to announce our latest endorsement: Katrina Shankland for Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District.
Katrina has been serving in the Wisconsin State Assembly for 12 years and has the experience necessary to be an effective representative in Congress for Wisconsin's 3rd District. She's got an uphill battle against the Republican incumbent with the first step being a packed primary for the Democratic nomination happening on August 13th (NEXT TUESDAY!).
Katrina is the only candidate in this race who has held public office, won an election, or passed a bill. (Cheers to that!) And she's also the only one with a record of delivering on affordable healthcare, investing in clean energy, responsible gun ownership, and lowering costs for working families and seniors.
Her campaign has built a historic labor coalition of 20 unions — bricklayers, iron workers, teachers, fire fighters, electricians, plumbers, and more — 50+ state and local elected officials in the 3rd, and five national groups, including League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, and End Citizens United. Now we are so proud to be adding our name to that list.
The Leaders We Deserve team is landing in Wisconsin this weekend to help with a hands on approach to get out the vote before her primary on Tuesday, but we need your help, Faith.
