To be painfully earnest with you, Faith, running for Senate costs *a lot* of money. A lot of people (like reporters and our opponents) will look at what we raise before the election and make judgments about the strength of our campaign.
And look, I may rag on John 99% of the time, but he really is the best person I know — and I know he'd make us proud as Pennsylvania's next Senator. He's never had to "evolve" on the issues. He's been fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights, immigrant rights, reproductive freedom, social equity, legal weed, unions, and green solutions to the climate crisis for even longer than I've known him.
