Palm Oil has is major driver of deforestation in some the world's most pristine and biodiverse forests in the world, destroying the habitat of already endangered species like the Orangutan, pygmy elephant and Sumatran rhino.
This forest loss coupled with conversion of carbon rich peat soils are throwing out millions of tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and contributing to climate change.
Nutella contains Palm Oil, by eating this product we are contributing to deforestation and the loss of pristine wilderness and endangered species. Pledge to stop buying Nutella until they drop Palm Oil for their products.
In addition, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a flawed system, with a lack of accountability, where the fact that someone else did deforestation just a few years before does not absolve the palm oil plantation's owner and definitely does not justify a sustainability label by a certification scheme. Using sustainable Palm Oil isn't a solution.

Not only Nutella contains Palm Oil. Many other products we use daily contain palm oil too, such as Dr. Pepper, Heinz Ketchup, Kellogs, Lipton, Orea, and Knorr. Find alternatives to these products so you avoid having to consume Palm Oil.
We will deliver these signatures to Nutella's Corporate Office. Until then, please sign and commit to removing Nutella from your grocery list!
Thank you.
